Lenard was born July 4, 1995, to Pastor Eugene and Cassandra Jackson. His birthday explains the explosive like qualities that we experience when it’s time for him to turn it on. His parents instilled high morals and integrity in him that are immediately noticed upon meeting him. He began acting at the age of 10. Currently graduated from the School of Performing Arts in Antioch, where had been a student since 2010. He’s also attended the Acting Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Outside of acting, Lenard is an accomplished musician, playing the drums, guitar and singing with Divine Voices at Deer Valley High School. He also dances, but his most loved art is performing comedy. In his young comedy career, The Kyd (Know Your Destiny) affectionately called by all his peers, has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy. He has been blessed to share the stage with Tommy Davidson, Kevin Hart, A.J. Jamal, Joe Torry, Rodney Perry, Mike Epps, Dee Ray Davis, Luenell, Bill Bellamy and the list continues to grow. He is inspired by Lenny Bruce, Bill Cosby, Charlie Chaplin and Robert Downey Jr. Pretty impressive and some may even consider unusual for a 17 year old. The latter is more appropriate; Lenard is by no means the usual 17 year old. On April 25, 2012, The Kyd performed with 28 other comedians at an industry showcase for Bob Sumner, (founder of LAFF MOBB and architect of Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam) at Pepperbellys comedy club in Fairfield, Ca. He was chosen and invited by Bob to showcase in Hollywood a month later. One of the first to Industry execs to come out and approach Lenard was Robert Townsend. Among the others were Robi Reed-Humes, Tracey “Twinkie” Byrd, Innovative Artist, Disney and Nickelodeon. Lenard was also invited to Paramount pictures to read for an upcoming television show produced by Nick Cannon. Daniel Paul of Laff Mobb said, “I can see another Will Smith in the making. November 24, 2012, Lenard hosted his debut his upcoming tour, Lenard “The Kyd” Jackson & friends (a family show) where he hosted to an audience of nearly 400. He closed the year out hosting 5 consecutive shows at Tommy T’s in Pleasanton which headlined Rodney Perry. January 22, 2013, he was again invited by Mr. Sumner to perform at a showcase for Hollywood executives at the World Famous Comedy Store.” It’s time to get on board with the future of entertainment, the Lenard “The Kyd” Jackson experience.
